Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Transportation Customer Service Representative to join our team at Bald Head Island Transportation, Inc. As a key member of our Reservations and Customer Service Center, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, property owners, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer telephone and make transportation reservations, receive inquiries, and provide requested information or refer callers to appropriate sources.
  • Enter arrival and departure tram reservations into transportation software and maintain knowledge of current events, activities, and hours of operation at various venues and entities on the island.
  • Responsible for accurate accounting of shift cash bank and forward phone lines to Ticket Offices when the Customer Service Center is not staffed.
  • Perform administrative duties, compile data for special projects or reports, and utilize computerized equipment to enter necessary information.
  • Provide information and assistance to guests, property owners, and visitors, and interface with the public by telephone and online.
  • Cross-train in ticket offices to ensure continuity of operations on all shifts and locations as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduation from high school or equivalent, one year of clerical experience, and six months in a position dealing with the public.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel programs.
  • Possession of a valid North Carolina driver's license.
Working Conditions

This is a regular part-time position that requires availability to work weekends, holidays, and evening shifts as required. Must wear company-provided uniform and maintain a professional image at all times.
