As a Pediatric Intensive Care Travel Nurse RN, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to critically ill children, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill children in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify potential complications, and implement interventions to prevent or manage them
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including progress notes, medication administration, and test results
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and unit efficiency
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice
  • Experience working in Pediatric Intensive Care or a related field
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
