Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant

Aureus Medical Group - Therapy is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in West Bridgewater, Massachusetts.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Physical Therapy Assistant to work in a skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical therapy and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist physical therapists in the development and implementation of treatment plans for patients.
  • Conduct physical therapy treatments and modalities as directed by the physical therapist.
  • Monitor and record patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the physical therapist.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
Requirements:
  • Current Massachusetts license as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
