Job Title: Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team at GeoKimika Oil & Gas. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing various laboratory tasks, including equipment calibration, sample preparation, and sample evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Develop knowledge of stimulation and production chemistries to understand application, testing requirements, and parameters for performance optimization.
  • Record, analyze, and interpret data, while ensuring proper documentation and adherence to data integrity principles.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with management to ensure efficient workflow and clear understanding of project objectives.

Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or a related field; or equivalent experience in a laboratory setting.
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment, techniques, and safety protocols.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong math skills a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Familiar with PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Reliable transportation & punctuality is a must.

Location: Midland/Odessa

Pay: $25-$30 DOE

Hours: 8am to 5pm
