Program Aide

Save the Children is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Program Aide to join our team. As a Program Aide, you will play a vital role in providing educational, relational, and social experiences for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist classroom staff in all classroom activities.
- Support the Teacher in various aspects of the program, including Family Nights, copying newsletters, and making phone calls.
- Provide custodial support as needed, including cleaning, sweeping, and mopping.
- Prepare food and serve items for service prior to or after use.
- Participate in food service clean up, inventory, and other food service tasks as requested.
- Minimum high school diploma or G.E.D.
- Certification as applicable by federal, state, or local Head Start or child care regulations.
- Basic first aid and pediatric CPR certification within 90 days of employment.
- Professional proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Demonstrated ability to relate sensitively with children and to work well and communicate effectively with staff, parents, and families.
