Job Title: Theatrical Scenic Artist

Join our team as a Theatrical Scenic Artist at Southern Utah University. We are seeking a skilled artist to work on scenic painting and finishing for our productions.

Responsibilities:
  • Paint and finish scenic elements for assigned productions.
  • Assist charge artist with overseeing assigned scenic artists.
  • Coordinate with Scenic Charge on scheduling, techniques used, and purchasing of supplies and equipment.
Requirements:
  • Intermediate and advanced experience with scenic painting and finishing or related fields.
  • Comfortable using ladders, scaffolding, and personnel lifts.
  • Basic knowledge of typical scenery and paint specific tools.
