PALS USA Warehouse Delivery Driver Job Description

PALS USA is seeking a skilled Warehouse Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for loading customers' orders onto a company truck, using material handling equipment, and driving to customers' locations within the geographic region to deliver.

The ideal candidate will have a Class B License, experience operating a forklift, and a customer-service orientation. You will also be able to operate material handling equipment, such as a forklift and picker, and have basic math skills. Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple demands simultaneously are essential.

Responsibilities:
  • Loading customers' orders onto the truck using material handling equipment
  • Unloading orders at customers' locations
  • Answering customers' questions and addressing their concerns
  • Loading and returning to the PALS USA warehouse unwanted and/or damaged merchandise from customers' locations
  • Completing all required paperwork
  • FOLLOWING all applicable laws and regulations, including hazardous material procedures
  • Maintaining a log book, scheduling vehicle and equipment maintenance, and completing pre and post-trip inspections
  • Reading customers' orders and assembling them in a manner that meets company standards
  • Gathering items from bins or shelves and ensuring the completeness and correctness of all orders filled
  • Using material handling equipment to load, unload, move, or store items according to supervisor instructions
  • Marking materials with identifying information using a stencil, crayon, or other marking device
  • Opening crates and other containers using hand tools
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Class B License
  • Experience operating a forklift
  • Customer-service orientation
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment, such as a forklift and picker
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to handle multiple demands simultaneously and have strong time management skills
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Successful completion of a motor vehicle record and all other FMCSR required
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check
