We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Jewish Home of Rochester. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents in Long Term Care, Short Stay Rehabilitation, and Assisted Living settings.
Key Responsibilities- Implement resident care plans and ensure their effective execution.
- Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to guarantee that resident care plans are followed.
- Transcribe and carry out physician's orders, integrating them into the resident's care plan.
- Provide direct personal care to residents as needed, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Utilize rehabilitative nursing principles to maintain residents at their highest level of functioning.
- Assist with therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, ensuring the highest standard of care.
- Administer medications and treatments, restocking medication and treatment carts at the end of each tour of duty.
- Assign tasks to CNAs and provide them with verbal reports.
- Communicate resident conditions to nurse managers or supervisors and relevant parties regarding resident care.
