Job Title: Sr. Category Lead

MWResource, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Sr. Category Lead to join our team. As a key member of our procurement organization, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional category management teams to develop and maintain category plans and ongoing category performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop deep knowledge and experience within assigned spend management responsibilities
  • Conduct spend/performance and external market analyses to monitor category performance and identify performance improvement opportunities

Develop spend and savings/performance improvement forecasts to monitor progress and ensure goals are achieved. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop consensus on category plans and priorities. Lead performance improvement initiatives defined by the category plan, including strategic sourcing and other performance improvement initiatives.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Contracting experience
  • Intermediate to senior level
  • RFP experience
  • Bidding & negotiations experience
  • Direct experience, non-IT
  • Construction experience, large projects

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent work-related experience.
