Respiratory Therapy Professional

About the Role
The Respiratory Therapy Student will provide comprehensive care to patients in an inpatient setting, focusing on rehabilitation and treatment procedures for individuals with pulmonary limitations.
Key Responsibilities:- Routine respiratory therapy procedures, including bronchial hygiene, airway clearance therapy, and hyperinflation therapy.
- The administration of medications under the supervision of another respiratory therapist.
- Proper documentation of administered services in the patient's electronic record.
- Replacing and labeling disposable equipment according to manufacturer and department guidelines.
Reporting Relationships:
The Respiratory Therapy Student reports directly to the Respiratory Manager.
Requirements:- Second-year student in an accredited Respiratory Care Program or newly graduated student awaiting credentials.
- Demonstrate accurate and effective communication, documentation, and technical skills.
- Current CPR certification required; BLS Healthcare provider Certification (American Heart Association) upon graduating and becoming credentialed PALS and ACLS certifications will be required.
