About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Metromont, LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant maintenance activities, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning properly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Operate and maintain a variety of equipment, including machinery, tools, and systems, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance team members, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and feedback to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Cost Control and Efficiency: Develop and implement cost-saving maintenance programs, ensuring that all maintenance activities are conducted in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with management, maintenance team members, and other stakeholders to ensure that all maintenance activities are coordinated and completed on time.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, with 5-10 years of experience in plant maintenance, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, general, and diesel mechanical skills, with knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train and develop team members, and communicate effectively with management and other stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
