Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electromechanical Assembly Technician to join our team at Advanced Energy. As an Assembly Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our assembly operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble, modify, rework, or reassemble units using Operational Method Sheets, drawings, schematics, electronic assembly equipment, and verbal/written instructions.
  • Work on assignments that are semi-routine in nature, requiring the ability to recognize nonconformities.
  • Communicate openly and effectively in a professional manner, ensuring seamless collaboration with colleagues.
  • Understand and follow all safety requirements, adhering to company protocols and regulations.
  • Understand and follow ISO practices and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Assist with training other employees in established processes, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Consider the impact of quality on customers when making decisions, prioritizing excellence in every aspect of work.
  • Perform basic reading, writing, and math functions, as well as basic electro/mechanical assembly skills.
  • Identify components and read technical assembly documentation, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Develop basic PC knowledge and proficiency in SAP, if applicable.
  • Effectively work in a team environment, modeling positive and professional work ethics.
  • Consider the impact on quality when making decisions, prioritizing customer satisfaction.
  • Prior experience in electro/mechanical assembly is preferred, as is proven ability to maintain flexibility and adapt in a team environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of ESD practices are essential.
