Wildlife Biologist Environmental Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Wildlife Biologist to join our team as an Environmental Consultant. This is a challenging and rewarding role that involves working on a variety of projects related to environmental planning, permitting, and project management.
About the Role- This position will be responsible for conducting client development activities and developing a book of business in environmental planning services in the greater Chicagoland area and the region.
- The successful candidate will have strong skills in proposal preparation, including scope of work and fee, and delivering work products and consulting solutions for clients on time and in budget.
- They will also possess a strong understanding of federal, state, and local regulatory requirements, as well as experience with risk management and loss prevention.
- You should have a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Botany, Biology, Ecology, Engineering, Environmental Science, Soils Science, or other relevant field of study.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in natural resources project management and environmental permitting is required.
- You should be familiar with company risk policies and understand and implement technical requirements to complete client projects.
- A valid driver's license with acceptable violation history is essential.
- Appropriate certifications for your area(s) of specialty (e.g., PWS, CWB, Section 10(a), etc.) are preferred.
