About the RoleAs a Nurse Practitioner with Matrix Medical Network, you will conduct adult and geriatric assessments, medical history evaluations, diagnosis, treatment, health education, physician referrals, case management referrals, follow-up, and clear documentation according to Matrix guidelines and protocols. You will work collaboratively with physicians, case managers, social workers, family members, key caregivers, and ancillary medical personnel as necessary.
The ideal candidate for this role will possess strong communication skills, be comfortable with frequent change, and have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner. Travel requirements include having a valid state driver's license, ability to drive a car, and proof of adequate automobile insurance coverage for the state of residence.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including medical history, diagnosis, treatment, health education, and referrals as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care
- Document all interactions, diagnoses, and treatments accurately and thoroughly
- Masters degree required or commensurate experience and satisfactory completion of NP licensure
- Current RN and NP licensure in the state of practice, including prescription authority
- Board certification by the AANP, ANCC, or AACCN in a Matrix-approved specialty
- BLS, ACLS, or CPR certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with employee health/medical record software
This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling and competitive compensation. The estimated annual salary for this role is $64,000, based on a 20-hour workweek, plus mileage reimbursement and other benefits.
