Ultrasound Technologist Job Description

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join their team for a travel assignment in Watertown, South Dakota.

Responsibilities
  1. Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other health team members.
  2. Provide and coordinate patient care with other health team members.
  3. Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes.
  4. Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation.
  5. Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit.
  6. Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required.
  7. Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
  8. Transport patients as needed.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • One to three years experience as a Sonographer preferred.
  • Other certifications may be required for this position.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills.
