Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our Interventional Radiology team at Maine Medical Center - Portland. As a Rad Tech, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to patients undergoing interventional procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate imaging equipment, including CT scanners and fluoroscopy machines, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Assist physicians during interventional procedures, such as angioplasty and stent placement.
  • Position patients for optimal imaging and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and imaging results.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in an interventional radiology setting.
  • ARRT RT (R) certification and BLS certification.
  • Neuro experience, including stroke and neurointerventional procedures.
  • Level 1 Trauma certification.
  • VI certification preferred.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a maximum call requirement of 1-2 weeknights a week and every 6th weekend (Fri-Sun). Weekends are call only. The department has 3 procedure rooms and a full staff model with 2 technologists per procedure room, rotating scrubbing and circulating procedures. Equipment includes Siemens, and EMR is EPIC.
