Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Director to lead our team in implementing a comprehensive Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) plan for the Global Health Risk and Capacity Mechanism. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership in developing and implementing MEL systems, ensuring alignment with USAID expectations and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement MEL Systems: Design and implement MEL systems to track program progress and performance, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and quality in all internal and external reporting and tracking tools.
  • Provide Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and support to the team in developing and implementing MEL plans, ensuring integration of CLA into current and future programming.
  • Mentor and Train Team Members: Mentor and train team members on MEL data collection, design, management, implementation, and reporting.
  • Lead Data Quality Assessments: Conduct data quality assessments (DQAs) of performance indicators at regular intervals.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure project MEL activities comply with USAID policies and requirements.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree: Master's degree or higher in international development, monitoring and evaluation, statistics, social sciences, global health, or other relevant field.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum 7 years of professional experience monitoring and evaluating public health initiatives, with a minimum of 5 years of experience with USAID compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Proven expertise in quantitative and qualitative methodologies, reporting, data quality assessments (DQAs), data analysis and presentation, and establishing and managing MEL systems. Strong interpersonal skills, excellent computer skills, and strong analytical skills.
Reporting and Application:
