Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Substation Control Designer to join our team at US Tech Solutions. As a key member of our staff augmentation firm, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality designs and solutions to our clients.

About the Role

This is a hybrid position that requires 3 days of onsite work and 2 days of remote work. You will be working with substation design work, AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical, and familiar with client tools and the Autodesk toolset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Experience with substation design work
  • Familiarity with client tools and the Autodesk toolset
  • Able to compare project drawings to the client standard
  • Effective communication skills and able to provide detailed reports
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Strong understanding of substation layouts
  • Familiarity with relay panel assemblies
  • Able to read design prints
  • Self-motivated and able to take tasks and complete them with little oversight
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
