As a Family Law Attorney, you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment, where every day brings new challenges and opportunities. You will be responsible for representing clients in all aspects of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, property division, and domestic violence.


Responsibilities:

1. Representing clients in all aspects of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, property division, and domestic violence.

2. Advising clients on their rights and responsibilities under the law, providing them with the information they need to make informed decisions.

3. Conducting thorough research to prepare for court proceedings, ensuring that all relevant facts and legal arguments are presented clearly and effectively.

4. Negotiating with opposing counsel to resolve disputes and reach settlements that are in the best interests of our clients.

5. Participating in mediation sessions, facilitating productive discussions and helping clients reach amicable resolutions.

6. Drafting legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and agreements, ensuring that they are accurate, comprehensive, and compliant with legal standards.

7. Keeping clients informed about the progress of their cases, providing regular updates and promptly responding to their inquiries.

8. Staying current with developments in family law, continually expanding your knowledge and skills to provide the best possible representation for our clients.


Qualifications:

To be considered for the Family Law Attorney position, you must possess the following qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.

2. A minimum of 2+ years of experience practicing family law.

3. Active membership in the state bar.

4. Proficient in all aspects of family law, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, property division, and domestic violence.

5. Experience with mediation and negotiation, with a proven track record of reaching favorable settlements for clients.

6. Excellent research and writing skills, with the ability to draft clear, concise, and persuasive legal documents.

7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and provide compassionate, empathetic service.

8. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage a large caseload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

9. High ethical standards and professional integrity, with a commitment to upholding the principles of the legal profession.
