Coating Process Specialist

Mermet, a world leader in sun control textiles, is seeking a skilled Creel Operator to join our team. Located in an environment with varying temperatures, this role requires the ability to lift up to 30 pounds and push/pull up to 1,000 pounds on a pallet jack.

The Creel Operator position is responsible for starting, stopping, cleaning, and maintaining a Coating Machine while ensuring good quality coated yarn is produced. Key duties include cleaning the machine, coating dies, and plastisol; threading lines on the machine; packaging empty/reject fiber glass bobbins for return to suppliers; bringing fiber glass pallets into the Creel Room and unpacking them; assisting the Coating Inspector in doffing bobbins throughout the shift; and frequent removal of waste from the Coating Machine.

We offer a competitive hourly base salary range of $17-$20, with options for day or night shifts.
