About the Role

Nuvance Health is seeking a skilled House Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations within their span of control. This individual will be responsible for resolving problems, ensuring efficient and safe operations, and providing oversight of patient care on all units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize management structures and workflows to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Provide oversight of patient care, including timely admissions, patient rounding, and collaboration with clinical nurses and physicians.
  • Facilitate interdisciplinary and interdepartmental communication for effective patient-focused care.
  • Identify staffing needs and direct resources to ensure adequate staffing.
  • Work with the CNO and Nursing Directors to support and drive nursing initiatives and goals.
  • Participate in performance management, including annual performance evaluations and disciplinary procedures.
  • Comply with all Health Quest and affiliate policies and ensure compliance with applicable law and regulation.

Requirements

  • BSN preferred; ASN accepted.
  • Minimum two (2) years' experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • CT RN License.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, & PALS required by the start of orientation.

Work Details

  • Location: Sharon Hospital.
  • Work Type: Per Diem.
  • Work Schedule: Eve/Night 8 & 12.
  • Work Shift: 7:00pm to 7:30am or 11:00pm to 7:30am.
  • Department: Nursing Administration.
  • Salary Range: $43.9200 - $81.5500 Hourly.
