Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pharmacist to join our team at McDonough District Hospital. As a traveling pharmacist, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Provide pharmaceutical care to patients, including medication therapy management and patient education.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmacy practice and apply evidence-based knowledge to improve patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy program.
  • Illinois license and registration required.
  • Additional training in nutritional support, IV therapy, and pharmacokinetics is highly desirable.
Work Schedule
  • Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, or 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM.
  • Potential weekend rotation.
