Job Summary

Complete Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for assisting in the month-end close process, which includes journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review month-end corporate financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Account Reconciliations: Prepare and review monthly account reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Audit Support: Assist in the preparation of schedules in connection with the annual audit, ensuring all control books are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Perform heavy balance sheet reconciliation work, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct P&L variance flux analysis, providing insights to management on financial performance.
  • Cash and Credit Card Reconciliations: Reconcile cash and credit card accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Perform ad hoc account analyses and other departmental tasks as necessary, providing support to management and other teams.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field required.
  • Experience: 2+ years of accounting experience, with a strong background in financial systems and reporting tools.
  • Skills: Advanced Excel skills, with a working knowledge of financial systems and reporting tools.
  • Industry Experience: Retail industry or manufacturing experience required.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
