Trauma Care Professional

MPLT Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Critical Care/Trauma Physician Assistant to join our team. As a member of our ICU team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive patient outcomes.
About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong background in acute care medicine and the ability to think critically in fast-paced situations. The ideal candidate will have experience working in high-pressure environments and be able to collaborate effectively with intensivists and other healthcare professionals.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe primary responsibilities of this role include:
- Providing direct patient care in the ICU
- Developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with intensivists and other healthcare professionals
- Performing various medical procedures, including central line placements and intubations
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a physician assistant in an ICU setting
- Active VA license
- BLS, CP, ATLS, and ACLS certifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
