First Day Homecare is looking for multiple Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to enhance our dedicated team. AVAILABLE POSITIONS
- Part-time night or evening shifts available for a toddler client, with flexible scheduling preferences.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (RN or LPN).
- Current nursing license in the state of Michigan.
- Ability to read, write, and adhere to established care plans.
- Valid CPR certification.
- Licensed driver with a properly insured and maintained vehicle.
- Access to an internet-capable device for electronic documentation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accountable for nursing practices in accordance with state regulations and home health standards.
- Conduct physical assessments of clients and participate in comprehensive evaluations as directed.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow nursing professionals and home health aides.
- Promptly communicate any changes in client health status to the supervising physician and care team.
- Contribute to the formulation of the client's Plan of Care.
- Exhibit proficiency in technical nursing skills within the legal scope of practice.
- Deliver care with respect for individual and cultural differences.
- Adhere to agency policies and accreditation standards.
- Initiate measures to enhance client care quality and prevent adverse outcomes.
- Maintain confidentiality in all job-related matters.
