We are seeking a skilled Nurse Anesthetist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health in Sheboygan. As a CRNA, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients, working closely with our medical team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Administer anesthesia services, including general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care, to patients undergoing various medical procedures.
- Perform pre-anesthesia functions, including reviewing patient medical history, conducting physical examinations, and ordering necessary tests and medications.
- Provide post-anesthesia care, including monitoring patients' vital signs, administering pain relief medication, and ensuring a smooth recovery process.
- Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement anesthesia plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Maintain accurate records of patient care, including anesthesia administration, patient responses, and any complications that may arise.
- Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives, staying up-to-date with the latest anesthesia techniques and best practices.
- Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Nurse Anesthesia.
- Current CRNA certification and licensure to practice in the state of Wisconsin.
- Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber license and DEA registration.
- PALS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
This is a full-time position, requiring a 40-hour workweek with occasional on-call shifts and weekend coverage. The successful candidate will be required to work in a dynamic, patient-centered environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality care and exceptional patient outcomes.
