Job Description

We are committed to providing our patients with the highest level of care, and as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all diagnostic imaging procedures are performed with the utmost care and precision.

  • You will exercise professional judgment in performing services and maintain a demeanor conducive to quality care.
  • You will deliver appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures.
  • You will comply with all state and federal regulations applicable to each modality.
Responsibilities

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Exercising professional judgment in performance of services and maintaining a demeanor complimentary to quality care.
  2. Delivering appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures.
  3. Complying with all state and federal regulations applicable to each modality.
  4. Assessing the patient's physical condition and age-specific needs.
  5. Providing instructions that achieve patient cooperation and desired results.
  6. Performing proper patient identification, acquiring patient's clinical history, and assuring that the information is accurately documented.
  7. Positioning patient, equipment, associated devices, and manipulating technical factors to achieve high-quality images for interpretation.
  8. Assessing diagnostic images for technical quality, proper annotation, and patient identification, ensuring that all relative anatomy is demonstrated.
  9. Applying principles of radiation safety to minimize exposure to patients, self, and others.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • A valid Certified Radiologic Technologist licensure by the State of Florida and valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification or valid Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) in (CT)
  • Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
