Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and adhere to safety protocols
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Conduct fabrication, welding, torch cutting, and light carpentry as needed
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance
  • Install, maintain, and repair complex machinery and plant equipment with minimal supervision
  • Disassemble malfunctioning equipment to assess repair needs; repair or replace defective components
  • Oversee maintenance of heavy machinery and building facilities
  • Demonstrate proficiency in hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, and interpret mechanical blueprints and schematics
  • Engage in welding and fabrication tasks
  • Complete additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED; additional training or certifications in industrial maintenance or related fields preferred
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in heavy industrial maintenance or as a mechanical technician; 5 years in welding and fabrication, skilled in SMAW, MIG, and TIG
  • Certifications: Required certifications include Aerial Lift, Confined Spaces, Crane, Fall Protection, Forklift, Hot Work, Lock-out/Tag-out, and Pallet Jack (to be completed during orientation)

Work Environment:

  • Shifts: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available, including weekdays and weekends, from 7a-7p or 7p-7a
