Job Summary:

MAPFRE Insurance seeks a highly accomplished Principal Data Architect to develop and implement enterprise-wide architecture strategies, resulting in significant improvements in system reliability and operational costs.

Key Responsibilities:

Backend Architecture:
Design and develop the internal architecture of cloud and on-premise solutions, and the tools and programming languages necessary to ensure the correct functioning of all internal elements.

Integration of Systems and Technologies:
Integrate and communicate between cloud and on-premise applications, databases, and technological platforms, leveraging knowledge of their characteristics and facilities.

IT Standards, Procedures, and Policies:
Manage the organization's IT policies, standards, and procedures, utilizing administrative skill sets and technical knowledge.

Platform Technology:
Request, propose, review, recommend modifications, recommend adoption, and maintain cloud and on-premise technology specifications in pursuit of established objectives in terms of modeling technologies.

Cloud Computing Architecture:
Design, evaluate, and improve cloud computing architecture to better support the requirements in cloud computing services.

Data Architecture:
Design blueprints on how to integrate data resources for business processes and functional support.

Information Security Architecture:
Utilize cloud tools and techniques to create application software, hardware, networks, and infrastructure, meeting information security objectives while using them.

Enterprise IT Architecture:
Create and develop the guiding principles and business architecture of a company, including organizational structure, process architecture, and performance management, as well as information, cloud applications, and supporting technology.

DevOps:
Apply DevOps practices and tools to reduce the time to deliver the solution, improve the stability and reliability of the system, and enhance the average recovery time.

Event-Driven Architecture:
Design and implement event-driven architecture (EDA) to respond to event notifications and improve system performance and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

Cloud Experience:
5+ years of experience in cloud computing architecture, design, and implementation.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in cloud platforms, data architecture, and information security architecture.

Soft Skills:
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and lead cross-functional teams.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
