As a CRNA, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality anesthesia care to our surgical patients. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the safety and comfort of our patients during their surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide anesthesia care for surgical patients, including pre-anesthesia evaluation, anesthesia induction, and post-anesthesia recovery.
- Assist with emergency airway management and emergency IV access as needed.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and anesthesia.
- Licensure by the SD State Board of Nursing as a CRNA.
- Maintain credentials per medical staff requirements.
- National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) certification.
- Certification by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists preferred.
