We're seeking a compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at Optum Care Delivery in North Hollywood, California. As a valued member of our healthcare family, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives while advancing your career.

About the Role:

  • Perform moderately complex patient-oriented procedures under the supervision of a clinician or RN to ensure patients receive appropriate care.
  • Direct patients to exam/treatment areas, prepare them for examinations and procedures, and assist with transportation and patient flow.
  • Obtain records, report vital signs, and collect pertinent patient information for clinicians or RNs.
  • Administer medication, perform various patient tests, and instruct patients on procedural preparations under supervision.
  • Notify pharmacies of new prescriptions and authorizations for refills as ordered by clinicians.
  • Maintain logs, records of medical procedures, and inventories of supplies.
  • Perform telephone screening and additional duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited LVN program.
  • Active, unrestricted LVN license from the state of California.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare providers or ability to obtain at the time of hire.
  • I.V. and Blood withdraw certification.
