Job Summary

The Product Engineer I is a key member of our product development team, responsible for supporting product improvements through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete basic projects assigned by more experienced engineers and managers, involving existing products while following standard practices and procedures in a support role.
  • Support project timelines and milestones, ensuring timely completion and staying within budget.
  • Work under supervision of more experienced engineers, with regular assignments completed with minimal supervision.
  • Assist in completion of CAPA tasks and deliverables, including Corrective and Preventive actions.
  • Support Production with Specification review, changes, and product issues by participating in root cause investigations.
Long-Term Expectations
  • Support initiatives for continuous process and product improvements.
  • Provide input to product teams regarding the development of new designs, methods, or processes.
  • May assist in training new employees with respect to documentation, use of equipment, laboratory techniques, and department procedures.
  • Deliver communications tailored to the needs of the receiver, with appropriate frequency to maximize utility and promote cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (Engineering or Technology).
  • 0-2 years' experience.
