Design Engineer - Product Development

As a Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing innovative product designs that meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate and convert product design ideas into robust solutions, working independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Evaluate and implement product design solutions to support warranty, cost, and manufacturability improvements in product assembly and fabrication.
  • Present product design solutions for review by product and management teams.
  • Direct and evaluate product design improvements through 3D modeling, drafting, tooling, and testing.
  • Conduct product design improvement cost analysis and feasibility studies.
  • Lead design technical staff and assist in closing gaps within design staff to provide needed support, via training, mentoring, and resource allocation.
Requirements:
  • Self-starter who can satisfy goals and timelines.
  • Project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and organizing workload.
  • Ability to direct, review, and approve work done by Engineers, Designers, and Drafters.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with various teams.
