Construction Operations Supervisor

Eversource Energy is seeking a Construction Operations Supervisor to oversee construction management and inspection processes for transmission lines and substations. This role is pivotal in ensuring that projects are executed safely and efficiently, adhering to the company's high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all construction field management activities for Substation and Transmission Lines utilizing contractor resources.
- Collaborate effectively with Project Managers, Engineering, Scheduling, and other internal teams to ensure timely project completion.
- Manage all aspects of the construction phase, focusing on cost, productivity, scheduling, and compliance with Eversource Policies and Procedures.
- Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and promote safety awareness within the team.
- Foster teamwork and collaboration among Transmission and Distribution personnel and other internal groups.
- Be prepared for system-wide on-call responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of transmission construction practices.
- Comprehensive understanding of safety requirements and applicable work procedures.
- Strong human resource management and business planning capabilities.
- Proficient in information technology and Eversource's operational systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Applied Science, Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related field.
Experience:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in construction, maintenance, or a related field.
- Preferred experience in Energy Delivery and transmission.
- Supervisory experience with both non-bargaining and bargaining unit employees is advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program, with a salary range starting at $122,620 - $136,260, plus incentives, based on experience.
Licenses & Certifications:
- Valid motor vehicle driver's license is required.
Working Conditions:
- Availability for emergency restoration assignments as necessary.
- Willingness to travel as required.
