Role Overview
We are seeking a Creative Operations Lead to enhance resource allocation and cultivate scalable teams within a diverse, inclusive, and inspiring creative environment. In this position, you will collaborate with cross-functional partners to define, scale, and allocate top-tier creative and design teams aligned with business objectives. Additionally, you will oversee our contractor workforce model and associated investments. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and effective communicator with a background in both creative and business sectors. We are looking for a meticulous operational leader who is passionate about tracking, reporting, and identifying opportunities to refine our processes and systems, facilitating the mobilization of a growing, global creative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage resource allocation across creative and design teams, working closely with the Operations Manager responsible for resourcing within Creative X.
- Collaborate with Discipline leadership to identify strategic creative resourcing solutions for current projects and future growth forecasts.
- Establish meaningful connections with our creative and design team members.
- Gain insights into their skill sets and experiences to ensure optimal project assignments.
- Assist in contractor recruitment by organizing interviews, conducting outreach, and managing contractor relationships.
- Optimize our contractor program to align with budgetary constraints and priorities, collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and maximize contractor utilization.
- Independently evaluate project requirements against comprehensive, cross-functional creative briefs, making informed talent decisions that benefit all stakeholders.
- Innovate team structures and methodologies to address complex creative challenges.
- Monitor and report on resource capacity planning.
- Support long-term planning with Creative Leadership and Program Management Leads to build frameworks and systems that effectively support key initiatives, campaigns, and projects.
- Facilitate the onboarding and integration of new hires.
- Contribute to the success of our creative awards program by leading case study development and award submissions with creative teams.
Minimum Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in resource management within a creative agency, production studio, or client-side environment.
- Proficient in navigating marketing and creative organizations.
- Familiarity with Resource Management tools such as Monday, Asana, and/or Workfront.
- Experience managing and onboarding freelancers, vendors, agencies, or contractors.
- Ability to prioritize, solve problems, multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end creative and marketing process.
- Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and adept at multitasking.
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in resource management within a creative agency, production studio, or client-side environment.
- Experience with emerging technologies.
- Future-oriented mindset with experience in innovative platforms, including but not limited to augmented reality, virtual reality, gaming, Web3, AI, NFTs, and avatars.
