About the JobThis is a temporary assignment to address staffing shortages in hospitals, surgical centers, or other healthcare facilities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat urological disorders such as urinary tract infections, kidney stones, and prostate issues.
- Perform various surgical interventions, including cystoscopies, nephrectomies, and prostatectomies.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide consultation services to other members of the medical team regarding critically ill patients.
- Provide patient education about conditions, treatment options, and post-care management strategies.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Residency training program in urology accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
- Fellowship training in a urology specialty may be required.
- Board certification in urology by the American Board of Urology (ABU) or the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery (AOBS).
- Active and unrestricted medical license in Oregon.
