Seeking Experienced Anesthesiologist for Logan, WV

We are currently seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist to provide temporary coverage at our facility. This role is essential for ensuring quality patient care during peak periods.
Location:
Logan, West Virginia
Duration:
Temporary coverage for vacation periods
Board Certification:
Required - must be Board-certified or Board-eligible
Schedule:
Shifts typically run from 7 AM to 5 PM, with on-call responsibilities as needed.
Procedures Involved:
The Anesthesiologist will be involved in a variety of procedures including:
1. General Surgery
2. Pediatrics
3. Obstetrics
4. Urology
5. Vascular
6. Orthopedics
7. Podiatry
8. Gastroenterology
Note: Cardiac and Neurology cases are not included.
Caseload:
Patients may present with complex medical conditions, requiring a skilled and experienced physician.
Operating Rooms and Case Volume:
The facility is equipped with 4 Operating Rooms and 1 Cysto Room, managing approximately 10-15 cases daily, including C-sections. Additionally, the hospital conducts around 15 epidurals monthly, performed by CRNAs. Cases typically commence at 7:30 AM.
Endoscopy Suite:
The hospital features an Endoscopy suite with two rooms, including:
1. Bronchoscopy Room
2. ERCP Room
Approximately 20 cases are handled daily, starting between 8 AM and 9 AM based on the surgeon's schedule.
Support Staff:
Currently, there are 2 physicians and 7 CRNAs on staff, with CRNAs functioning independently and taking on-call duties from home.
Licensing Requirements:
An active West Virginia medical license and DEA registration are mandatory prior to commencement of duties.
Privileges:
