About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist PRN to join our team at St. David's Round Rock Medical Center. As a key member of our imaging services team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and screening imaging procedures, assisting radiologists in procedures requiring sterile technique, and preparing and administering contrast media.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all diagnostic and screening imaging procedures, including ER, surgical, fluoroscopic, and portable procedures.
  • Assist radiologists in procedures requiring sterile technique.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media.
  • Assess patient's condition prior to and during all procedures.
  • Follow and adhere to facility and department guidelines.
  • Quality/Performance Improvement.
  • Perform other department-related duties as needed.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate Degree or satisfactory completion of a formal AMA-approved school or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in diagnostic imaging.

Licenses and Certifications

  • Licensed Medical Radiologic Technologist by the Texas Medical Board.
  • Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 90 days of hire date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
