Procurement Strategist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Strategist to join our team at Elevate ENT Partners. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping our procurement function and driving value addition through strategic sourcing and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Procurement Leadership
  • Develop and execute company-wide procurement strategies aligned with corporate objectives, ensuring optimal cost savings and value creation.
  • Evaluate existing vendor contracts to optimize spending and foster a culture focused on long-term savings.
  • Establish processes for strategic sourcing and vendor selection to ensure competitive pricing and reliable supply chain management.
• Mergers & Acquisitions Support
  • Conduct cost structure assessments for acquisition targets to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
  • Oversee the integration of newly acquired clinics into our centralized procurement system, including vendor transitions, pricing evaluations, and consolidation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain metrics and dashboards to track savings and identify further optimization opportunities.
• Vendor Management
  • Create and issue requests for proposals (RFPs), review bids, negotiate contract terms, and implement vendor agreements to secure the best possible deals.
  • Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships, focusing on contract renewals, negotiation strategies, and invoicing improvements.
  • Monitor supplier performance post-contract and address any non-compliance issues promptly.
• Reporting and Metrics
  • Develop and present business cases for procurement initiatives to medical, clinical, and operational leadership as well as senior management, highlighting the benefits and ROI.
  • Create and monitor post-contract benefit benchmarks, ensuring alignment with approved business cases and measuring the effectiveness of our procurement efforts.
  • Manage and report on program KPIs and supplier performance metrics to inform data-driven decision-making.
• Operational Excellence
  • Oversee the centralized procurement program to ensure seamless operations, efficient processes, and high-quality service delivery.
  • Lead corporate sourcing initiatives, acting as the liaison between Elevate ENT Partners and client procurement, legal, and risk management teams to drive collaboration and mutual understanding.
  • Issue and manage corporate procurement policies and procedures to standardize practices and ensure compliance.
• Other Responsibilities
  • Manage the annual procurement budget and supplier base to ensure effective resource allocation and minimize waste.
  • Evaluate and advise the Corporate Controller on procurement impacts on financial performance, providing insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Participate in additional corporate initiatives as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
