Job Title: Warehouse Worker - Composting and Recycling

Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding role in a rapidly growing composting and recycling business? We are currently hiring full-time warehouse workers at Break It Down. This position requires physical labor and involves unloading 100lb+ barrels of food waste & recyclables from 26' box trucks, dumping and sorting through food waste and removing contamination, rinsing barrels and roll-carts in our rinse station, baling cardboard and loading bales onto a 52' trailer, and keeping stations clean and organized.

Requirements:
  • You must be at least 18+ years of age
  • Operational smartphone that can be used throughout the day for taking/sending photos, communicating via text and email
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Forklift experience is a plus but not required

Responsibilities:
  • Unload 100lb+ barrels of food waste & recyclables from 26' box trucks
  • Dump and sort through food waste and remove contamination
  • Rinse barrels and roll-carts in our rinse station
  • Bale cardboard and load bales onto a 52' trailer
  • Keep stations clean and organized
