We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our team as a Hospice Aide/CNA in Brookfield, WI. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients in their homes.
Responsibilities- Provide personal care services to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and ambulation.
- Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Assist patients with self-administration of medication and ensure compliance with medication regimens.
- Meet safety needs of patients and use equipment safely and properly.
- Report on patient's condition and significant changes to the assigned nurse.
- Keep patient's living area clean and orderly.
- Provide respite for patient's family/caregiver when on-site, as appropriate.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Completion of Certified Nurse Aide/State Tested Nurse Aide training and current licensure to practice in state of operation.
- One year CNA/STNA experience required.
- Experience in Hospice or a similar setting preferred.
- Self-directing with ability to work with little direct supervision.
- Commitment to clinical and documentation excellence.
