Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing examination rooms for patient examinations, escorting patients to dressing and x-ray rooms, and providing verbal and/or written instructions and assisting patients in positioning body parts to be radiographed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing examination rooms for patient examinations
  • Escort patients to dressing and x-ray rooms
  • Provide verbal and/or written instructions and assist patients in positioning body parts to be radiographed
  • Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure patient care, safety and comfort during scan
  • Scheduling appointments and offering pre-procedure advice
Requirements
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification
  • Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) certification
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
  • The ability to stand for extended periods
  • Strong technical skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Passionate about patient care
  • Requires a minimum of two years of current general radiology experience
  • Graduate from a fully accredited Radiology Tech program
  • Active unencumbered Radiology Tech Massachusetts state license
  • One year of Epic experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster

A can-do, team-oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital. Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks are also required.
