Job Summary

This is a rewarding opportunity to join our radiology team as a Mammo Technologist Senior. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, performing mammographic procedures, and maintaining accurate documentation. If you possess excellent customer service skills, a passion for delivering quality results, and a strong understanding of mammography protocols, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accountability for proper documentation of exams and related procedures using RIS/PACS and patient charts.
  • Perform screening, diagnostic, and/or assist in performing mammographic procedures.
  • Monitor image quality on a continuous basis to ensure alignment with ACR quality standards.
  • Ensure equipment performance and functionality.
  • Conduct daily and periodic Mammography QA activities under the supervision of the Mammo QA technologist.
  • Follow policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Requirements
  • NYS license in Radiologic Technology.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT-R).
  • Two-year college degree in Radiologic Technologist in Applied Science or equivalent.
  • Two years' experience as a Mammography Technologist.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is between $29.00 - $41.00 per hour, based on location and experience.
