Home Health Speech Therapist Travel Assignment Opportunity

About the Role:

This home health speech therapy position offers a chance to work with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional patient care. Your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive speech therapy services to clients in their homes, promoting independence, and improving overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with communication disorders, including speech, language, and cognitive impairments.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and social workers, to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and caregivers to educate them on treatment progress, goals, and recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate records of client assessments, treatments, and progress, adhering to regulatory requirements and Fusion Medical Staffing's policies.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in the state where you will be working.
  • One to three years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist, preferably in home health settings.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality, adapt to changing situations, and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Earning Potential:

We estimate that experienced Speech Language Pathologists can earn between $60-$80 per hour, depending on factors like location, experience, and certifications. This translates to a monthly salary range of $8,000-$10,400 for a 40-hour workweek.
