Responsibilities
  • Transport and unload portable sonographic equipment to perform exams ordered by physicians.
  • Perform and process ultrasounds using portable sonographic equipment and digitally send them to radiologists for interpretation.
  • Scan exam-related paperwork and billing on a daily basis per protocol.
  • Communicate regularly and professionally with peers, management, dispatch department, and clients.
Requirements
  • Registered with ARDMS or CCI for vascular ultrasound.
  • General and vascular registered (ARDMS: RVT, CCI: RVS, or ARRT: R.T.(VS)).
  • Vaccination against COVID-19 is a requirement for all individuals.
  • Graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound technology program.
  • Maintain required certification and registries, health requirements, and operational requirements.
