Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Inspector to join our team at Continental Disc Corporation. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct receiving inspection of all purchased parts to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Perform in-process inspection of parts in the CNC area to ensure they are produced correctly.
  • Final inspect all products prior to packaging and shipment to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Route accepted parts and products to the next processing stage.
  • Document non-conforming parts or products and route them to the designated holding area.
  • Calibrate and maintain inventory of measuring equipment, including pressure, control, and computer gauges.
  • Track and enter inspection data into our computer system.
  • Develop non-conformance charts and run weekly updates.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED, associate's degree in Industrial Technology or related field preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Intermediate math skills.
  • Intermediate reading skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of applicable certification standards and codes.
  • Working knowledge of computers sufficient to successfully use our ERP system, Microsoft Windows, and Office.
Physical Requirements
  • Sufficient manual dexterity to successfully use a computer.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per day.
  • Frequently required to stand and/or walk, up to 2 hours per day.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, as needed.
  • Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment when in the manufacturing area.
