We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Inspector to join our team at Continental Disc Corporation. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct receiving inspection of all purchased parts to ensure they meet our quality standards.
- Perform in-process inspection of parts in the CNC area to ensure they are produced correctly.
- Final inspect all products prior to packaging and shipment to ensure they meet our quality standards.
- Route accepted parts and products to the next processing stage.
- Document non-conforming parts or products and route them to the designated holding area.
- Calibrate and maintain inventory of measuring equipment, including pressure, control, and computer gauges.
- Track and enter inspection data into our computer system.
- Develop non-conformance charts and run weekly updates.
- High school diploma or GED, associate's degree in Industrial Technology or related field preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Intermediate math skills.
- Intermediate reading skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of applicable certification standards and codes.
- Working knowledge of computers sufficient to successfully use our ERP system, Microsoft Windows, and Office.
- Sufficient manual dexterity to successfully use a computer.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per day.
- Frequently required to stand and/or walk, up to 2 hours per day.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, as needed.
- Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment when in the manufacturing area.
