This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in materials management, distribution, or a related industry with proven management/supervisor responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain systems to determine and drive desired inventory levels
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with representatives of material suppliers
  • Manage the most economical inbound and outbound transportation routes

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree or Equivalent additional experience
  • 5-10 Years of Materials in Manufacturing, Distribution, or related industry with proven Management/Supervisor responsibilities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Applications - Including Excel
  • Experienced with ERP Systems - QAD or SAP preferred
  • Strong Communications skills managing both Customer & Supplier engagements
