About the Role

Columbia Crest Center is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Development Coordinator/Infection Preventionist RN to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for orienting and educating nursing personnel, ensuring safe and effective nursing care, and promoting a culture of excellence and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement education programs to meet the needs of nursing staff
  • Supervise and monitor new nursing employees during their orientation period
  • Perform annual competency testing and evaluation, and clinically appraise nursing staff performance
  • Provide oversight to the Employee Health Program, including administering and tracking of tuberculosis and hepatitis vaccine, and tracking of influenza immunizations

Requirements

  • Experience in Gerontology preferred
  • Training and/or experience in adult learning preferred
