Job Description

The Teller - Bilingual position is responsible for managing cash drawers, cross-selling bank services, and processing business and individual banking transactions. You will work closely with customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise. To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills and be proficient in both English and Spanish.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel as a Teller - Bilingual, you will need:

  • Institutional knowledge of banking,
  • Ability to receive cash and checks for deposit, verifying amounts, looking at endorsements and reviewing checks for possible fraud including holds,
  • Cash handling skills, including examining cash carefully to guard against counterfeit bills,
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
  • Ability to lift and transport coin and currency bags as required (bags may weigh between 25lbs and 50lbs).
