Maintenance Technician for Manufacturing Operations

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations. This position is essential for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our production machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on various manufacturing equipment to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PLCs, Drives, VFDs, mechanical systems, industrial hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Analyze machine failures and propose effective solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Establish and oversee preventive maintenance programs, maintaining comprehensive records of all maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and implement enhancements to equipment and processes.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Respond to urgent maintenance requests and execute scheduled maintenance tasks.
  • Assist in mentoring less experienced technicians and operators on equipment handling and maintenance practices.

Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proven expertise with PLCs, Drives, VFDs, mechanical systems, preventive maintenance, industrial hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders for maintenance tasks.
  • Familiarity with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as necessary.
  • Demonstrated reliability and responsibility in previous roles.
  • Completion of a relevant technical or vocational training program is preferred.
  • Certification in industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical systems is advantageous.
